NHS Chinmey Removal
Nortech Marine Ltd won the contract to remove a redundant 50ft chimney from NHS Monfield in Lerwick, Shetland. This involved the use of a mobile crane, cherry picker, oxy-acetylene cutting gear. All work was carried out with both Nortech and NHS safe systems of work incorporating a crane lifting plan, risk assessments and method statements.
