Case Studies
Gas Turbine Exhaust Stack
The steel was blasted to SA3 (all rust and traces removed) and then coated with heat resistant paint which can stand a temperature of 540 cel.
Tall Ships Pontoons
Nortech marine is currently blasting and painting large floating pontoons which will be launched for use at the Tall ships event in Lerwick

Welding and Fabrication
Nortech Marine has invested heavily in welding machines that can handle all welding procedures, both in the workshop and mobile engine driven site machines.
Blasting and Painting
Our purpose built blastroom can take any structure up to a size of 40ft long(12m), 8ft high(2.4m) and 12ft(3.3m) wide. A 8000cubic ft per min extractor keeps the air inside the blastroom clear and also protects the environment from any dust escaping.
Waterjet Cutting
Nortech Marine has invested in a 'Flow IFB' abrasive waterjet machine, which is the most "green environmentally friendly" way of cutting Sheet materials.
